This 1980's New York pop combos retrospective is full of rickenbakker jangle and catchy hooks that was worthy of a release. If you like The Byrds sometimes crossed with early Elvis Costello then The Floors Models is right up your alley. Lots of singalong choruses that will stick in your head for days. 19 tracks of pop coolness including studio and live tracks with a couple of covers (ABBA and The Records).

Power pop is a pretty formulaic genre -- a glorious formula, but still, predictable enough that lots and lots of bands can pull off a "perfect" blend of melody, harmony, jangle and crunch a time or two in the course of their careers. But I can't name another record that hits the magic spot EVERY SINGLE TRACK. This is so f$%#ing good. Craig O'Neill
